Our hearts are broken. Our beloved camp was demolished by Hurricane Helene 2024 from the "1 in 1000 Year Flood" in Western North Carolina.
Devastation to Camp Driftwood has left us with almost a total loss, except for 1 property standing, but severely damaged. (See before and after pics below.)
We are needing to clean up, rebuild, and reclaim this special destination so that it's stunning riverbanks can be enjoyed by our friends and family for years to come. As you can imagine, our rebuild requires funding for materials, labor, and large equipment.

Campsite #5 is the first site you come to as you come into the tent area. Site #5 is a single site and can sleep a total of four people in two tents. There is parking for two vehicles. Base rate is for two people and one car. Add $10 each additional persons, up to 4.

- Hosts up to 4 people, 2 tents, and 2 cars (base rate for 3 people and 1 car).
- Close to the rapids with big water sounds, nearest to the Bathhouse but less private.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $35.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
